Generally, on application and after a free initial consultation with the prospective pupil. Normally, it is helpful if one or other parent attends these discussions as it helps to build an accurate picture of what is required.
Prices are per hour of actual instruction and include a five-minute period either side for both revision and homework planning.
As at September 2007:

| A Level | £GBP 28.50 |
| Degree or equivalent | £GBP 32.50 |
Monies are usually collected as cash or cheque immediately after a session. For pupils having instruction over, say, a two year period, discounts are available.
